After agitation from the ACA and the CCA Anthem Backed off--- finally we have good news for California doctors.

On July 16, 2012 Anthem notified it was rescinding their policy, of earlier this year, by permitting doctors to opt out of the Automobile Medical Coverage Network Access Plan [AMCNAP] and still maintain their participation in other Anthem contracts.

Sam Collins, doctor billing guru, announced that ASHP also rescinded AMCNAP med pay provision and now allows its members to opt out.
